New Heights is the realistic climbing game where players get the chance to try "free solo" climbing without risking their lives. The climbing system is built with a combination of inverse kinematics and physics. This ensures that the climbing is very true to nature.
The cliffs and boulders that the player can climb on are completely scanned in using photogrammetry. This 3D scanning technology ensures that very high quality models can be created that actually put reality into the game.
At the moment, the game is still in development which can be followed on the New Heights website.
