The Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery at RCSI Dublin is committed to delivering high-quality CPD (Continuing Professional Development) courses for registered nurses, midwives and medical professionals. To facilitate access to CPD content and enhance the learning process.
To make this possible, we were commissioned by RCSI and GameArchitect to create an MUP (Minimal Usable Prototype) called FLO mCPD. In addition to allowing medical professionals to view and customize their eportfolio, the FLO mCPD consisted of two unique components. The first unique component is a CPD course management. This allows the user to enroll in CPD courses offered by faculty, access course materials and track their progress. The other component is a Virtual Coach that guides and supports users through the reflection process. It also collects notes and reflections from users and stores them in an e-portfolio.
